Building Permit Fees:

Fees are based on the number of buildings and units plus $2.00 per thousand of the estimated cost of construction, if less than $1,000,000, or $2,000 plus $0.50 per thousand of the estimated cost of construction if more than $1,000,000 plus Fire Department fees. Example of 10 unit building base fee: $125.00 for the plan review and certificate of occupancy, plus $135.00 per building for footing, underslab and slab inspection, plus $125.00 time 10 (number of units) for a base total fee of $1,510.00. Then add in the fee for the estimated cost of construction and Fire Department fees.

Sewer Tap Permit Fees:

Sewer tap fees are based on the water meter size plus a $50.00 inspection fee. Click here to see the fee schedule. Depending on the location of the project, a utility service cost recovery fee may be added to the sewer tap permit fee.
