• Do I need a reroofing permit? No, not unless any structural materials are being replaced.
• Do I need a permit to remodel? Yes, if you are doing any structural work. Cosmetic work does not require a permit.
• How long is permit review? Building Department has 10 business days once all required information is submitted to our office.
• Do I need to be bonded? If you have a General Contractor (GC)- only need a GC bond and verification of state license for Plumber. If you are being your own GC-then you’ll need to supply subcontractor and bond information. Contractor Bond Requirements 
• Do I need a permit to build a fence? No. Keep in mind. If the fence is 42” or less then it does not have any setback requirements. Just vision setback requirements. If the fence is over 42” tall then it needs to meet the setbacks of the frontage road(s). Keep in mind that HOA's have additional restrictions and you should make contact with them before construction. Check to see if you're property has any easements-it may require approval from our Engineering Department.
