2023 Starting Salary for Probationary Patrol Dispatcher - $44,199.48

Basic Requirements, Patrol Dispatcher:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older and a high school graduate or equivalent.
2. Must submit to a background investigation and polygraph exam.
3. Must posses excellent keyboarding skills, ability to multitask and utilize several computers at once. 
4. Must be able to handle both fast-paced, high stress situations that require quick decisions that can be followed by periods of extreme downtime.
5. Must be able to work a wide variety of shifts (mainly 12-hr shifts) including nights, weekends and holidays.
6. Ability to complete an extensive training program, obtain required certifications, some which may include travel.
7. Must not have abused any drugs/narcotics within two years of application date.
